FAMILY GARDEN, BROADSTAIRS

The lovely owners of this garden wanted to keep a large lawn for football games but also wanted to incorporate a social area that both adults and teenagers could enjoy.

Our design included a bespoke pergola and canopy to bring shade and privacy to this sunny garden. This stylish structure gave the garden interest and also made the space feel much larger. The surrounding planting palette provided colour, screening for the hot tub area and a much more interesting view from the large bi-fold doors in the house.

This garden now works really well as a party space and, whilst the lawn is kept large for now, we are developing a fire pit area at the far end of the garden as another social space to catch the evening sun - watch this space!
